How to Make an Effective EAP Referral with Modern Assistance Programs

Modern Assistance Programs (MAP) is a major employee assistance program for many of the local building trades.  Join them for a presentation on the stigma of mental health disorders and how they could be better handled in the construction industry.

This 60-minute training will provide an introduction to Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) and how referrals can be made. Modern Assistance  will discuss the different types, key components such as who is eligible, what services are offered and how they can be accessed. We will focus on the benefits offered to the building trades and discuss examples of EAP engagement. Employers will understand the process for referring an employee to an EAP. We will discuss strategies to help engage employee utilization of EAPs. The goal is to provide a comprehensive overview of EAPs and how they are beneficial to employers.
